Over the years our GPI US staff has worked closely with our parent company in Japan, ISA, to bring thousands of middle and high school students from Japan to America to strengthen the relationships between the youth of our countries as well as prepare them for careers in our increasingly global society. Now, we are offering this opportunity to U.S.-based students to participate cultural exchange abroad. As an educator, you have the opportunity to show your students new cultures, foods, languages, and people.

Japan Bound is GPI US’ custom study-abroad program taking place throughout Japan. Our team works with teachers, school groups, clubs, and other youth organizations to tailor programs to fit student needs. We can connect program activities to a curriculum or theme of your choice. Our team works closely with our constituents in Japan to ensure every detail of each program is what you’re looking for.

Our groups from Japan often visit local high schools during their programs in the US. We’ve helped establish sister school relationships stemming from these visits and assist in planning and overseeing cultural and language exchange activities online and in-person.

When is this program?

As all of our programs are customized, we're flexible. We'd love to work with you to bring your students here during spring break, winter break, summer vacation or any other time of year!

Who can participate in this program?

Anybody! This program offers a rare opportunity for high school students to get the absolute most out of a trip abroad. Some of the unique opportunities we offer are:
